This course covers the knowledge of mechanisms for:

 

• Disease transmission
• Strategies to prevent the spread of communicable disease
• Proper diapering procedures
• Proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures
• Proper infant formula prep
• Signs of illness in children
• Care for ill children
•  Administering medication in a day care center
• Childcare rules as they relate to health and communicable diseases
